Description
Meet your guide at Jardin Public, Biarritz, at 11:00 a.m. Begin with a 20-minute training session to get comfortable on your mini-Segway or electric bike. Training duration may vary based on experience to ensure a safe tour. The option to join the tour on foot is available, with scheduled meeting points to keep the group connected.
Set off on your Segway or e-bike to visit key sites including Côte des Basques beach, Virgin’s Rock, Port Vieux beach, Port des Pécheurs, Grande Plage, and Saint Martin lighthouse. Learn about the tides, local ecosystems, and the town's rich history, including notable visitors such as Empress Eugénie, Napoleon III, the British royal family, Picasso, and Charlie Chaplin.
At approximately 11:50 a.m., visit a pelota court for a 30-minute introduction to the traditional Basque sport. Try basic techniques with your hands and/or a pala paddle.
Resume your ride, passing historic villas including those once owned by Putin and Coco Chanel. Return to Jardin Public around 1:20 p.m. with lasting memories and photos.
