Embark on an unforgettable private day trip from Biarritz to discover two of southwestern France’s most iconic destinations: the Dune du Pilat and the Bay of Arcachon. With hotel pickup and drop-off included from Biarritz, Bayonne or Hossegor, this all-day tour is designed for 1 to 3 people (no shared van), offering personalized service, local insights, and scenic landscapes all along the way. After a drive through the Landes pine forest in a comfortable hybrid vehicle, you’ll arrive at the Dune du Pilat, Europe’s tallest sand dune. During the drive your guide will tell local stories and answer all your questions. At the Dune, You’ll have plenty of time to climb at your own pace and enjoy the breathtaking desert landscape and 360° views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Landes pine forest, and the Banc d’Arguin nature reserve. Truly one of the most unforgetable place you'll ever see. Your guide will share fun facts and stories about the region and the Dune to enrich your visit. Next, enjoy a short scenic drive and visit through Arcachon’s “Ville d’Hiver”, a charming 19th-century neighborhood filled with exotic villas, lush gardens, and pine-covered hills, with photo opps. This hidden gem showcases the town’s Belle Époque architecture and unique atmosphere. Then head to an authentic oyster village. Take a guided walk in a very picturesque setting, watch local fishermen at work, and enjoy free time for a fresh oyster tasting, shrimps and pâté (terrine) with a glass of wine in a traditional wooden hut by the bay. A real local tradition. After a relaxing moment by the water, begin the comfortable return journey to your hotel, arriving in the early evening.

It may be canceled in case of rain forecast. - Walking on the beach, in the dunes and in the village is not difficult for most people, but is not recommended for people with heart problems or walking difficulties.
