The tour departs at 9:30 AM directly from your accommodation in Bordeaux with a private vehicle reserved for up to four guests. Your local guide will accompany you throughout, ready to answer questions and share insights about Bordeaux and the surrounding region.
The route passes through the Landes pine forest before reaching the Dune du Pilat. At 110 meters high, this natural landmark offers panoramic 360° views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Landes forest, and Arcachon Bay including Cap-Ferret.
Spend about one hour exploring the dune at your own pace—whether taking photos, resting, or breathing the coastal air. You are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy during this time.
On the return journey, the tour includes a 30-minute stop at a local oyster fishing village. Observe oyster farmers at work and learn about this traditional livelihood from your guide.
